With the Central Research Laboratories' Power Slicker, the first robotic, teleoperated slicker, there is no variance, just a smooth operation and consistent quality, side after side.

The Power Slicker features a remote joystick control with four degrees of movement (vertical, horizontal, in-out, blade rotation) and adjustable blade force from 0-70 pounds (0-310 N). The manually operated joystick directs the blade, and the resulting constant pressure insures a uniform and positive contact between the side and plate or table. This in turn insures a more uniform, higher quality product and increased yields, from the first side of the day to the last.

The Power Slicker is available for use with paste drying lines and Gozzini-style vacuum dryers. The Power Slicker has been proven through rigorous field testing under actual processing conditions. It will help bring your hide slicking operation into the age of automation.
