Drum Bagging System

The CRL Drum Bagging System provides a safe and efficient means of transferring hazardous or toxic materials between a drum and enclosed glove box while maintaining the containment of the box. The system uses industry standard bag-in/bag-out techniques and CRL's proven Sealed Push-Through technology in a self-contained package that interfaces directly with the floor of the box.

The Drum Bagging System is available in two sizes: one for 55 gallon drums and one for 85 gallon drums. Both sizes can be used for bagging out of waste material. The 85 gallon size can also be configured for bagging in an entire 55 gallon drum. Both sizes have the same cell interface and overall dimensions.

All system components exposed to the glove box environment (except the bag assembly) can be stainless steel or anodized aluminum. The gaskets and 'O' ring seals can be supplied in any required material.

Bag insertion and replacement is accomplished with either a lift cart (on which the waste drum is placed, with an optional turntable for twist-and-cut bag sealing) or a powered insertion tool mounted to the underside of the cell interface plate.
