Locking Ring | Glove | Plug | Window | Bag | Change Tool | Safety Cover Locking RingLocking rings are not required for proper functioning of the Enclosure System, but they are highly recommended as they provide a smooth working surface when used with gloves and an added measure of protection from accidental dislodging of installed system accessories. Locking Rings are made of rigid plastic and they attach to the operator side of the Enclosure Ring (no tools required for round Enclosure Rings).GloveThe CRL Enclosure System can be used with most industry-standard dry box gloves. These are available in a variety of styles and materials. Gloves require a Support Ring Assembly to mount in an Enclosure Ring. A Support Ring Assembly consists of a rigid plastic ring and an O-ring (material of your choice) that provides the seal between the glove and the Enclosure Ring.PlugPlugs provide effective sealing of the Enclosure System when not in long-term use. They can also provide quick, temporary utility access (electrical, pneumatic, etc.) through the use of sealed bulkhead fittings or connectors mounted to a Plug Assembly. A Plug Assembly consists of a rigid plastic plug and O-rings (material of your choice) that provide the seal between the Plug and the Enclosure Ring.WindowWindows provide viewing ports into your glove box or enclosure and allow for easy replacement when they become dirty or discolored. Windows are available in a variety of materials and thicknesses. A Window Assembly consists of a window sealed in a rigid plastic ring and O-rings (material of your choice) that provide the seal between the window ring and the Enclosure Ring.BagBags provide the means to transfer items and materials into and out of a glove box. Using any bag sealing method (heat sealing, for example), items can be bagged in or bagged out without breaking the containment of the glove box. Bags are available in any required length (long bags can be used for multiple bag-in/bag-out operations). Bags require a Support Ring Assembly to mount in an Enclosure Ring. A Support Ring Assembly consists of a rigid plastic ring and an O-ring (material of your choice) that provides the seal between the bag and the Enclosure Ring.Ejection (Change) ToolEjection Tools are required for the installation and replacement of accessories (gloves, bags, windows, etc.) in an Enclosure Ring. Use of an Ejection Tool ensures proper installation of accessories. Special designs allow for the purging of the space between the old and new accessories for strict enclosure atmosphere control.Safety CoverSafety Covers provide added protection for Enclosure Systems when not in use. An Enclosure System with a Safety Cover in place will have enhanced containment ability should the installed accessory (glove, bag, window, etc.) be damaged by in-cell equipment, fire, etc. Safety Covers are available in a variety of materials, O-ring materials, and special configurations (such as shielding covers). A Safety Cover attaches to the operator side of the Enclosure Ring (no tools required for round Enclosure Rings) and takes the place of a Locking Ring.Ball ManipulatorThe chart below shows the options and accessories available for each family of Sealed Pass-Through Enclosure System.
