Enclosure Rings

An Enclosure Ring Assembly is that part of the Enclosure System that is fixed to the glove box wall. The Enclosure Ring accepts the various accessories (glove, bag, window, etc.) that can be quickly and easily replaced in the Enclosure Ring without breaking containment. Enclosure Rings are available in two basic styles:

• Weld-in installation
• Clamp-in installation

Weld-in Enclosure Rings are available in stainless steel (304L or 316L), with or without flanges. Flanged Enclosure Rings are available for installation in walls up to 0.25 inches (6 mm thick). Flangeless Enclosure Rings are available for installation in walls up to 1 inch (25 mm thick).

Clamp-in Enclosure Rings are available in stainless steel or anodized aluminum. These can be installed in a metal, plastic, or (with additional cushioning) glass walls. Standard Enclosure Rings can be installed in walls up to 0.75 inches (20 mm) thick. Special designs can be installed in walls up to 4 inches (100 mm) thick.
