Mounts for Central Research Laboratories' manipulators are available in a variety of styles, depending on the cell wall configuration and accessory requirements. The three standard mount types are:
The Roller Trucks and Roller Tube are used when manipulator booting is to be included. The booting is mounted in the same I.D. wall penetration hole as these mounts. This allows the booting to be changed from the outside of the cell using the push-through technique.
Roller Mounts require a smaller I.D. wall penetration hole than Roller Trucks or a Roller Tube. Booting is fastened directly to the slave Roller Mount rather than sealed to the inside of the wall penetration hole.
For very thin walls, special Bearing Mount configurations are available.
