Model RE Telemanipulator
The Model RE Telemanipulator is an extended-reach version of the Model R three-piece, sealed manipulator. Extension is provided by a motor drive controlled by a switch on the master handle. The extension motion is fully counterbalanced and full manual Z motion remains available at all positions of extension
A full-balance version of the Model RE is available (the Model RE-FB.) The Model RE-FB features an independent slave Z motion counterweight for improved Y and Z motion counterbalancing in all ranges of motion.
The Model RE is available in standard and light-duty (Model RE-L) versions, and also with tape-driven motions for lower friction (Model RE-T and Model RE-LT).

* D is usually equal to E but can be larger or smaller than E for operator comfort. The formula for D gives the minimum dimension for a specific Z motion dimension.
