Sterilizing Transfer Port

The Sterilizing Transfer Port (STP) is a double-door transfer system incorporating a heater to sterilize the "ring of concern" with dry heat and is automated so it is not necessary for a operator to use gloves to open and close the transfer system. The unique features of this system include:

  • A heater to sterilize the "ring of concern"
  • Motor drives for operating the system automatically
  • A sleeve assembly which swings into place and seals to the beta flange and protects the transferred product from touching the heater or seals
  • Clean features of the system inside the barrier which allow for easier wash down and clean-up.
